Site X5 is Blue Hawk’s highest-performance Bitcoin mining operation — a 2.2-megawatt installation in South Texas powered by stranded natural gas and built around the most energy-efficient Bitcoin ASIC currently available: the Bitmain S23+ Hydro 3U. Operating at an industry-leading 9.6 joules per terahash, this next-generation miner delivers dramatically more hashrate per watt than any current-generation air-cooled alternative, positioning Site X5 at the absolute frontier of Bitcoin mining economics.
The site deploys 199 units of the S23+ Hydro 3U inside an Upstream Gen Hash 300 container — a hydro-cooled enclosure built for the thermal demands of the highest-output ASIC hardware on the market. Together, these 199 units generate 231 petahash per second of total hashrate, the highest single-site capacity in the Blue Hawk portfolio, at a total power draw of approximately 2,193 kW. Power is supplied by a Used CAT G3516 generator running on stranded natural gas from a dedicated single-well gas source.
The economics of Site X5 are exceptional. At an effective power cost of 3.83 cents per kilowatt-hour — the lowest in the portfolio — and a Bitcoin production cost of just $19,635 per coin, Site X5 operates at a margin that most competing mining operations cannot approach. Generating approximately 3.08 BTC per month, this site represents the premium tier of Blue Hawk’s gas monetization strategy: next-generation hardware, best-in-class cooling, and the deepest cost advantage in the network.
