Site A1 HYD is a 1-megawatt Bitcoin mining installation strategically positioned in South Texas, one of the most resource-rich natural gas production corridors in North America. The site harnesses stranded natural gas — gas that would otherwise be flared or vented without commercial value — and converts it into reliable, low-cost electrical power through a proven Used CAT G3516 generator, a workhorse of industrial power generation known for its field-proven durability and consistent output under continuous load.
Mining operations are contained within a Foghashing S1200 hydro-cooled container, representing the premium standard in liquid-cooled ASIC management. Hydro cooling dramatically extends the operational lifespan of mining hardware, eliminates thermal throttling, and enables sustained full-load performance across all weather conditions — a decisive advantage in the demanding Texas climate. The facility runs 210 units of the Bitmain S21+ Hydro ASIC, generating 83 petahash per second of Bitcoin hashrate at 15 joules per terahash.
From an economic standpoint, Site A1 HYD operates at an effective power cost of 4.42 cents per kilowatt-hour, translating to a Bitcoin production cost of $35,040 per coin. With monthly Bitcoin output of approximately 0.93 BTC, this site offers investors a well-positioned entry into gas-to-power Bitcoin mining, combining institutional-grade infrastructure with the fundamental economics of energy arbitrage in a proven producing region.
