SITE-3 is a 500-kilowatt Bitcoin mining installation in the Texas Onshore Gulf region, designed for efficient operation at a compact scale. The site draws on stranded natural gas — gas that lacks viable pipeline access and would otherwise go unmonetized — routing it through a Used CAT XQ550G NG generator, a natural gas-optimized unit well-suited for field power generation in remote or underserved pipeline areas.
Mining hardware — 108 units of the Bitmain S21 XP — is deployed in a Used Antbox container, a field-proven air-cooled enclosure that delivers practical durability at reduced capital cost. Running at 13.5 joules per terahash, the S21 XP provides 29 petahash per second of aggregate hashrate from a total power draw of approximately 395 kW.
With an effective power cost of 5.94 cents per kilowatt-hour and a Bitcoin production cost of $43,725 per coin, SITE-3 operates at a modestly higher energy cost than the larger portfolio sites — a natural reflection of its smaller scale and gas-specific generation equipment. Nonetheless, it represents a viable gas monetization strategy particularly suited to well operators with smaller gas volumes seeking to generate meaningful Bitcoin yield from an otherwise stranded asset. The site produces approximately 0.39 BTC per month.
